Pimp My Ride: Khloé Kardashian Gets Her Range Rover Wrapped in Black Velvet
Khloé Kardashian just gave new meaning to the term “fresh paint job.”
The reality star got her Range Rover wrapped in black velvet, and while it’s unclear how the new finish will fare in the rain, Kardashian loved the look, showing off the upgrade on Instagram.
“Beast!!!!!” Kardashian, 31, captioned the picture of the truck on Monday. “@selfmaderyan told me trust him and he didn’t let me down!! Thank you @westcoastcustoms for lacing my range. Yes, he wrapped my truck in velvet and I LOVE it!!! I feel like my car is rocking a Sean John sweat suit.”
Fun fact: West Coast Customs, a luxury auto shop in Burbank, California, was featured on MTV’s Pimp My Ride in seasons 1-4.
“Khloé Kardashian was introduced to West Coast Customs by a mutual friend and design-wise, she was hoping to have custom work done to her car that would be unlike anything on the road in Los Angeles today,” the brand’s founder and CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus tells PEOPLE. “I think we were successful in what we hoped to accomplish and hope that Khloé enjoys this new, really never-before-seen look on her car.”
As for how much the swanky job would have cost the reality star, Friedlinghaus won’t give an estimate. “The pricing for the styling of this unique concept wrap varies from vehicle to vehicle and of course is usually part of an overall larger West Coast Customs design package,” he explains.
Kylie Jenner also took to Snapchat on Sunday to give followers a closer look at her big sister’s car.
Jenner, 18, is no stranger to decking out her own wheels.
In August, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star gave her new white Ferrari – gifted to her by her boyfriend Tyga for her 18th birthday – a complete makeover, painting it matte gray and installing red rims in the place of the original black and gray ones.
