I went to a mental institution … drugs, overdosing, slitting wrists, all that stuff.” During the session, Shahbaznia points out that primary caregivers are meant to provide “safety and protection” and “those people have a lot to do with how we bond with somebody else.” This point strikes a chord with Wilkinson, who says she didn’t get the love and support she needed as a child. “I was left on my own,” she says, pushing back tears. “I was a young f—— girl. All I wanted was for my mom to say, ‘I love you, and I’m here for you.’ I never got that.” Wilkinson recently disclosed the emotional abuse she has endured at the hands of her “sadistic” mother, Patti: “I feel like I’m being raped every minute with my mom,” she told her aunt on Kendra on Top. Kendra and Patti’s tumultuous relationship has been well-documented on TV, including a May episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars in which the former Playboy model raged at her mom, “The devil has eaten your soul!” RELATED VIDEO: Kendra Wilkinson to Her Mom: ‘You Sell My Tears to the Tabloids!’ Kendra on Top airs Fridays (9 p.m. ET) on WEtv.
