Now that Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan have put the drama behind them over his departure from Live!”, they have a bit of celebrating to do.

On Monday, Ripa and Strahan both walked out onto Live! With Kelly and Michael‘s set holding the Emmy statuettes they won at Sunday’s ceremony.

Ripa, 45, asked the crowd what they did over the weekend before announcing, “We won an Emmy!” She then turned to her co-host, 44, and said, “Cheers to you” while tapping his award with hers.

The pair happily explained that they didn’t even know about the win until they started to receive text messages full of congratulations.

“I know we sit up here in front of the camera, but they’re the ones that make this show work,” Strahan added. “It’s about a team. Congratulations to everyone here at Live!

The award comes right on the heels of a tense two weeks in the wake of Strahan’s abrupt announcement that he is departing the morning show for a bigger role on Good Morning America. (His last day will be May 13, PEOPLE exclusively first reported).

Live! With Kelly and Michael airs weekdays (check local listings).
