Entertainment TV 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Recap: Khloé Kardashian Admits She Feels Overworked, Clashes with Momager Kris Jenner Plus, Kylie Jenner throws her first housewarming party By Aurelie Corinthios Published on January 24, 2016 10:55 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Keeping Up With The Kardashians With Kylie Jenner feeling frustrated with her family for being too controlling and Khloé Kardashian furious with Kris Jenner for overbooking her, Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians was all about the women working through their issues with each other – but before we got to any of that, there was the issue of Scott Disick to deal with. Following his breakdown on last week’s episode, in which the father of three called Khloé in tears alluding to suicidal thoughts, the women sat down with Kourtney Kardashian to recap what had happened with her ex. Kourtney, 36, maintained her calm demeanor – even after Kim Kardashian West said she heard Disick was wasted at 1 OAK the next night – and simply said the situation was in his hands and Disick needed to decide "what kind of life he wants to live." Meanwhile, 18-year-old Kylie was planning a housewarming party – she moved into her very own $2.7 million mansion in the summer – and tension started to rise when Kourtney and Kris, 60, decided to get involved. Kylie made it clear she wanted to do something “chill” as opposed to the more over-the-top party her sister and mom were trying to plan, but Kourtney remained on her heels. “I don’t know how many times I have to say, I’m grown now. I’m 18. I can handle this on my own.” Kylie said in an on-camera interview. “Sometimes with my family it’s just easier to nod your head and brush things off your shoulder.” Eventually, Kylie decided to call her dad Caitlyn Jenner for advice, and Caitlyn, 66, told her youngest daughter that she needed to make her own decisions and plan the party her own way. While Kylie was dealing with the housewarming party drama, the other daughters were also clashing with their momager Kris. While Kris and Kim, 35, got into quite the heated argument over marble slabs, Khloé and Kris were working through some more serious issues over the fact that Khloé felt extremely overworked. Between editing her book Strong Looks Better Naked (which was released Nov. 5), appearances, photo shoots, DASH meetings and more, Khloé told her momager that she needed to book her on fewer things and ease up the workload. Things eventually come to a head during a photoshoot Khloé was doing for Redbook magazine, when Khloé asked her mom to cancel a few things and then accused Kris of being a “f—ing liar” for saying Khloé had agreed to the busy schedule long ago. “What’s more important, [work] or your daughter’s sanity?” Khloé demanded. Shortly afterwards, Kris decided that she wanted the family to see a communication therapist to teach them all not to constantly be on their phones and allow them to communicate with each other better. Even though Kim originally dismissed the idea as “the dumbest thing” she’d ever heard in her life, the daughters eventually agreed to do it – but lo and behold, when the meeting rolled around, Kris was actually in Paris and didn’t attend. This infuriated Kourtney, Kim and Khloé decided to get their mom back for missing the meeting she planned herself because, as Kim said, “nothing pleasures me more than pranking my mom.” They then proceeded to invite Kris over under the premise of practicing the exercises the communication therapist taught them, but instead sat her down and threw family trivia questions at her to test her own communication skills. Kris ended up getting more than a few of the questions wrong, which led to her being dunked with water and pied in the face. It was all in good fun, of course, and by the end of the episode all the family drama started to work itself out, with Khloé finishing her book and Kylie successfully throwing a low-key housewarming party. Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs Sundays (9 p.m. ET) on E!
