What’s that they say about doing business with your family?
Scott was apparently the one who arranged the appearance and is worried he’ll receive all the backlash for her absence.
“Now it’s becoming a problem for me if you say no, only because they started promoting it,” he tells Kris. “If it was two, three weeks out, you could cancel it, but they already spent money and time promoting it, and now what?”
In an offscreen interview, “Lord Disick” continues his rant about Kris’ “ridiculous” behavior, saying, “If she ever saw one of her daughters backing out of a deal, she’d lose their number forever!”
“At the end of the day, we both look bad, we both don’t make money and we look like a bunch of flakes,” he adds.
Kris argues that the appearance is putting a lot of pressure on her, and that she doesn’t feel like Scott is “looking out for [his] mom.” Brushing that accusation aside, he claims that he’s just trying to maintain his relationships.
“I pushed and pulled to get the deal done, and now you’re backing out,” he responds, “and now it’s making me look completely irresponsible.”
Kris says that although she doesn’t want to disappoint anybody, she’s worried that the appearance will make her “look like an a–hole.”
“Well, guess what?” Scott retorts. “Now I’m going to look like an a–hole.”
