Kourtney Kardashian may be falling back into a few old habits with ex Scott Disick, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to rekindle their relationship.

A new sneak peek at Sunday’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 12 premiere shows Kardashian and Disick on a friendly housewarming shopping excursion with momager Kris Jenner.

In the clip, Kardashian acknowledges that her decision to spend time with Disick could lead people to wonder if they’re reconciling romantically.

“When it comes to Scott, I’m not looking to get back together any time soon,” clarifies Kardashian, 37. “I don’t have specific boundaries set, but coming to help him pick out stuff for his kitchen in his new house as a friend, like I’m totally okay with that, and I don’t feel like I’m giving any false hope.”

Indeed, Kardashian has held the line with Disick, who moved to Calabasas to maintain his relationship with kids Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 16 months.

“We’re just doing our best to be the best parents,” she told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on a Today show appearance earlier this month. “We’re friends at this point.”

And KUWTK‘s new season will show that transition to friendship, including Kardashian’s new life as a singleton.

“It took Kourtney months to get to where she is right now,” a source told PEOPLE exclusively just before the reality star’s 37th birhday on April 18. “[She’s] happier and confident lately.”

Added the source, “Kourtney and Scott are in a good place. They are getting along and very friendly.”

And, indeed, when Jenner suggests blue hand towels in the clip, Disick defers to Kardashian, who prefers classic white. “She’s a tough cookie you’re talkin’ about here, he tells Jenner, 66. “I do trust her – she did run my life for 11 years.”
