About three months after surviving a car accident while on a family ski trip in Montana, the Kardashians are bringing viewers inside the aftermath of the terrifying crash.

A clip from this week’s Keeping up with the Kardashians episode shows Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and little North West sitting in their GMC Yukon after they hit a patch of ice and spun out of control.

“Our car’s stuck in the snow … in a ditch off the side of the road,” Kim, 34, says on a phone call as North, almost 2, coos in the background. “We skidded into the other side of the road and a car was coming toward us.”

Later, Khloé – who was driving – tells the camera what she learned from the harrowing experience.

“When stuff like this happens it makes you put everything into perspective: life, family, friends, what’s important to you,” the 30-year-old says. “Things could change in a blink of an eye. Our family has learned that tons of times. We definitely have angels surrounding us today.”

Stepfather Bruce Jenner was involved in his own car wreck in Malibu on Jan. 3. A woman, Kimberly Howe, 69, was killed, and five others were injured.

Howe’s stepchildren filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Olympian, but he petitioned for a dismissal this week.

KUWTK airs Sundays (9 p.m. ET) on E!
