It’s Showtime for Katie Holmes.

The star of the 2011 TV miniseries The Kennedys will guest-star on the third season of Ray Donovan on Showtime, PEOPLE has learned.

Holmes will play a shrewd and chic businesswoman named Paige, the daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (Ian McShane), who enlists Ray’s services.

Holmes, 35, is also set to reprise her role as Jackie Kennedy in The Kennedys: After Camelot for Reelz Channel. Production will begin in the spring in Canada.

Holmes is keeping a busy slate: She’s prepping to make her directorial debut and star in All We Had, the adaptation of Annie Weatherwax’s novel about a mother (Holmes) and daughter living on the edge of poverty who find an unlikely home in small-town America. Holmes optioned the book in July, before its Aug. 5 publication.

And she’ll also appear opposite Ryan Reynolds and Helen Mirren in the feature film Woman in Gold.

Ray Donovan, which is about an L.A. “fixer” played by Liev Schreiber, is Showtime’s second-highest rated drama series following Homeland.

The third season is expected to debut this summer.
