Katie Couric‘s talk show has been canceled and will end in June, at the end of its second season.

Couric says pulling the plug on Katie was a mutual decision between her and Disney/ABC.

“We’re very proud of everyone’s contributions to making Katie the No. 1 new syndicated talk show of 2012-13,” she and Disney/ABC said in a joint statement to the Hollywood Reporter, “and we look forward to the rest of the season.”

Couric left CBS News in 2011 to launch her daytime show on ABC, and it was reportedly one of the most expensive shows in syndication.

The TV veteran, 56, signed a deal in November to be the global anchor for Yahoo News and will be joining the internet giant early next year.
