Usually an unexpected guest is unwelcome at a wedding, but wedding dress shopping? All’s fair in love and fashion.

On the season 13 premiere of Say Yes to the Dress (airing March 6), Kathy Griffin swings by Kleinfeld Bridal to support her former assistant Tiffany Rinehart, who’s getting married a few years after she “lost [the weight of] an Olsen twin.”

Just how far will the Fashion Police host go for a good style surprise?

Considering her breakout reality series, My Life on the D-List, centered on Griffin’s willingness to do anything for a bit, when consultant Randy Fenoli suggests Griffin pretend to be a mannequin (including physically taking the mannequin off its stand), she is characteristically game – up to and including the moment she and Fenoli “literally took the stick out of [the mannequin’s] butt.”

Griffin, 54, isn’t the first celebrity to visit SYTTD: Kelly Ripa, Seth Meyers and Jillian Michaels have all popped in to Kleinfeld before. This season, the staff welcomes Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle, Law & Order: SVU star Tamara Tunie with her daughter, daredevil Nik Wallenda and his wife, and bride-to-be Melissa Sorentino, the sister of Jersey Shore‘s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino

Say Yes to the Dress begins its 13th season March 6 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
