Shot by famed photographer David LaChappelle, this year's photo seems to take aim at the media circus surrounding the famous family
If you think Christmas can be a bit of a circus, the Kardashians seem to agree.
It wouldn’t be the holidays in Hollywood without the anticipated unveiling of the Kardashian Christmas card, and this year’s family photo is decidedly more high fashion than last year’s more traditional white Christmas.
The glam, golden, glitzy photo features the Kardashian-Jenner clan draped in black and posing in a graffiti-strewn, artistically-trashed carnival-inspired room, littered with dollar signs, pop art and magazines, that looks as if it was taken in post-Mad Max Vegas.
Shot by famed photographer David LaChappelle, the photo seems to state that life as a member of the Kardashian family is a constant media circus.
This year’s card features Kim Kardashian posing on a staircase in a cleavage-baring gown, while Khloé Kardashian Odom leans across what looks like a car seat as Kourtney Kardashian‘s son, Mason, lays in front of her.
Kourtney stands nearby, holding daughter Penelope, while Kylie and Kendall Jenner strike stunning poses standing atop a mountain of magazines.
Matriarch Kris Jenner, sporting a headdress, gloved arms in the air, is front and center, while her ex, Bruce Jenner, is encased in a glass tube that is labeled “Cashier.”
Save for Bruce and Mason, all the men – Rob Kardashian, Scott Disick, Lamar Odom and Kanye West – are missing from this year’s holiday card.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs Monday at 9:30 pm ET/PT on E!
