Hannah Song for PEOPLE

President Yeezy is coming – and PEOPLE is ready.

Kanye West shocked fans by announcing his intention to run for president while accepting his Video Vanguard Award during Sunday night’s 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

“I have decided in 2020 to run for president,” the star proclaimed while grasping his moonman trophy.

While West has plenty of time before he needs to start campaigning, PEOPLE has already envisioned a patriotic campaign poster for the “Bound 2” singer, featuring red, white and blue and a still from the memorable (yet rambling) speech.

West’s famous family is already drumming up support for his White House run on social media.

Sister-in-law Khloé Kardashian shared an image of West in front of an American flag promoting “Mr West” on Twitter Sunday night.

Kourtney Kardashian took it one step further, suggesting a future Washington, D.C., edition of Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Is there a FLOTUS Kim Kardashian West in our future? Only time will tell. But she did bond with 2016 hopeful Hillary Clinton at a star-studded fundraiser earlier this month.
