The Big Bang Theory actress attended the Longines Masters of Los Angeles opening evening gala on Thursday, held in the Prestige Village Lounge in Los Angeles. Cuoco, 29, “was good spirits, relaxing and joking with friends” at the equestrian event, an onlooker tells PEOPLE. The actress also took to Instagram to share a snapshot of her and her pals enjoying the evening. “#squadgoals @mastersgrandslam,” she captioned the group shot. “Can’t wait to play this weekend!!!” she added, complete with a few emojis of horses. A source told PEOPLE that Cuoco “did very well” and was “extremely focused” during a horse-jumping competition last week at Flintridge Riding Club in La Cañada Flintridge, California. She is set to compete in another event Saturday. Cuoco also shared a picture of new horse Zaza on Instagram on Thursday. The actress, who is an accomplished equestrian, also owns another horse named Thor. Cuoco and Sweeting, 28, announced their breakup exclusively to PEOPLE last week. The stars’ decision to end their marriage after 21 months was “mutual,” Cuoco’s rep said, adding that they “ask for privacy at this time” and would not be making further statements regarding the divorce. On Monday, Cuoco filed for divorce from Sweeting, citing irreconcilable differences in court documents obtained by PEOPLE. A source told PEOPLE that Cuoco and Sweeting both “seemed miserable” before their divorce, even during romantic nights out. The source also said that the two have “totally different personalities.” “The tension was noticeable,” added the source of the “few times” the couple were out together recently. “You could tell the honeymoon phase has ended.” Cuoco has been hanging with friends and relaxing with yoga since announcing the split.
