Entertainment TV It's Here: Check Out Justin Bieber's New Single and Video, 'What Do You Mean' The song was produced by Skrillex and is the lead single off Bieber's new album, due in November By Alex Heigl Published on August 28, 2015 09:10 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Beliebers, start your Beliebing: The lyric video for Justin Bieber‘s brand-new single, “What Do You Mean,” is officially out. The new, Skrillex-produced single is the first taste of the 21-year-old Bieber’s new album – his first in three years – that’s currently set to come out on Nov. 13, per Billboard. Diplo and Drake are both rumored collaborators on the full-length. “What Do You Mean” is something of a slow burner, and it’s pretty restrained for a Skrillex-produced track. It’s based on loops of vaguely tropical house beats, with Bieber asking in the chorus, “What do you mean? / When you nod your head yes / But you wanna say no / What do you mean?” The video, directed by Laban, shows off some of Bieber’s skateboard skills along with Ryan Sheckler and Chelsea Castro. Bieber enlisted dozens of stars to help him count down to the single’s release: Check out a smattering below. https://instagram.com/p/63xWeJQzGT/ “I’m out here and I’m trying to grow and I’m becoming the man that I want to be,” he told Elvis Duran on the Z100 Morning Show. “I think it’s only going to be easier if I have people supporting me and not bringing me down. So if you want to ride this train with me guys, I would love to have you on board. If not, don t get in my way! Bieber is set to perform “What Do You Mean” live for the first time at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday, and will release the music video for the song immediately following the show.
