Rest assured Dancing with the Stars fans, Julianne Hough is feeling a whole lot better following her hospitalization for stomach pains after Tuesday’s results show.

“I’m ok,” Hough, 20, writes in a new blog post dated Oct. 22. “I’m fine.”

The pro dancer also reveals that she was feeling ill all day, but managed to soldier through the broadcast and even pulled off an encore performance of her jitterbug with partner Cody Linley.

“I didn’t feel well the whole day,” she writes. “But I’m a trooper. I didn’t tell anyone. I didn’t want to be dramatic about things.”

“I don’t know if anyone could see my face during the show, but I was trying so hard to put a smile on,” Hough continues in the post. “I was in so much pain. Afterward, I went backstage and curled up in a ball. That’s when everyone said I needed to go to the hospital.”

Contrary to some reports, Hough says she didn’t “collapse” and, in fact, was more concerned with taking off her I Love Lucy-inspired costume before heading to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. “There was no way I was going to the hospital wearing that stuff,” she writes. “I quickly changed out of my wig and my dress. But I forgot to take off my over-drawn Lucy lipstick. By the time I realized, I was like whatever; I’m sure they see a lot worse there.”

Hough’s condition, it turns out, wasn’t serious: She had a bad stomach ache, and left the hospital after being examined and is planning on sitting out the group dance rehearsal Wednesday and taking “it easy today.”

“With stomach problems, you never know what’s going on,” she writes. “It could’ve been appendicitis. It turned out just to be a bad stomach. As my mom said, ‘better safe than sorry.'” –Brian Orloff
