Holy Moly: Jude Law Hits the Beach in Just a Tiny White Speedo While Filming 'The New Pope'

Jude Law was spotted filming the television series The New Pope in Italy on Monday

Hey, Jude!

Jude Law was spotted on the beach in a barely-there white speedo on Monday while filming The New Pope, a continuation of 2016’s limited series The Young Pope, in Venice, Italy.

Law, 46, could be seen barefoot and walking hand-in-hand with Ludivine Sagnier, his costar on the show, who wore a colorful bikini accessorized with a large cross necklace.

The Captain Marvel actor could also be seen splashing in the water and walking through a crowd of bikini-clad women playing volleyball — all part of the mysterious follow-up to the hit HBO show.

The New Pope will see Law reprise his role as Lenny Belardo (later Pope Pius XIII), the first American pope in history, and will also star John Malkovich.

The new series is not a sequel, but a “second limited series set in the world of the modern papacy,” according to IndieWire.

Little is known about the plot of The New Pope, but it is expected to premiere later in 2019.
