Joy Behar will present a view all her own, a “topical and fun” show, the View cohost tells The New York Times of the HLN cable program she and the sister channel of CNN are due to launch this fall.

Tentatively titled The Joy Behar Show and expected to debut in September in the 9 p.m. timeslot currently occupied by repeats of Lou Dobbs Tonight, the new series is to serve as a platform for the outspoken Behar, 65, who also will continue her morning duties with Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.
