Another Bachelor crossover romance? Not so fast – despite hitting the town together in New York City, The Bachelorette and The Bachelor alums Josh Murray and Ashley Iaconetti insist they aren’t an item.

On Monday, Murray, 30, who ended his eight-month engagement to season 10’s Bachelorette Andi Dorfman in January, shared a picture on Instagram with Chris Soules contestant Iaconetti and a large group of women.

Iaconetti, who was known for major meltdowns and in-tact virginity on The Bachelor‘s 19th season, is seen smiling next to Atlanta-native Murray in the picture.

“Had such a great time in NYC, it’s always nice meeting new friends! #AdvoCareInNYC @lindsiechrisley @ashley_iaconetti,” Murray wrote on Instagram. The former baseball player was in New York to promote his new partnership with fitness and nutrition brand AdvoCare.

Murray was quick to squash dating rumors, later commenting on the picture “Ya’ll are too funny over here, these are FRIENDS, nothing more, it’s ok to have guy and girl friends, don’t read into it that much. It was after a big AdvoCare event I had for my team, all about helping others and meeting new people. Hopefully I can meet all of you one day as well!”

Iaconetti, however, gave a different message when she spoke with TMZ about their night out. The freelance journalist from New Jersey said that Murray reached out to her to get together in NYC, and thought the evening was a “group date.” The 26-year-old said she even brought two friends along for the outing.

Dorfman, who called splitting with Murray the biggest failure of [her] life, recently relocated from the former-couple’s home base, Atlanta, to NYC in March.
