Behrs, who stars alongside Kat Dennings, 28, on the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, is responsible for hooking up her costar with singer Josh Groban. Behrs, 29, introduced Dennings and Groban, who have been dating since October 2014. “I always wanted to find him the right girl,” Behrs told PEOPLE of Groban, 34. “At the time, Kat was in a relationship, so I couldn’t. Then they happened to both be single for once at the same time.” She adds, “It didn’t take much coaxing for either of them.” “They’re both nerds at heart,” said Behrs while attending Sunday’s John Varvatos 12th Annual Stuart House Benefit in West Hollywood, California. “But their hearts are in the right place.” Groban has owned up to the couple’s “nerd” behavior, previously telling PEOPLE their typical date night involves bingeing on the reality show Shark Tank and lounging in onesies. “They’re in this crazy business, they’re both very calm and mellow and wonderful,” Behrs said on Sunday. “And he treats her like a princess, and it’s amazing.” 2 Broke Girls airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on CBS. • Reporting by REAGAN ALEXANDER RELATED: Inside Date Night with Josh Groban and Kat Dennings
