Jon Stewart Calls Out the Media's Obsession with Caitlyn Jenner's Body: 'Welcome to Being a Woman in America'

Jon Stewart is taking aim at the media for its obsession with Caitlyn Jenner‘s body.

“Caitlyn, when you were a man, we could talk about your athleticism, your business acumen,” Stewart said on Tuesday’s episode of The Daily Show. “But now you’re a woman and your looks are really the only thing we care about.”

He went on to call out TV commenters for discussing Jenner’s “comparative f—ability” and comparing her to Jessica Lange and, of course, Kim Kardashian.

“Look, we want to give a woman a compliment here,” Stewart said. “We just need to make sure another woman gets taken down a peg.”

He concluded the segment by saying, “Caitlyn Jenner, congratulations. Welcome to being a woman in America.”
