Entertainment TV Jon Gosselin Claims He Hasn't Seen One of His Sons in 'Year and a Half' The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star says he hasn't seen all of his children together at the same time in more than three years By People Staff Published on January 21, 2016 10:10 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Deyanna McElroy/NBC Jon Gosselin says he doesn’t have much control over his relationship with his children. The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star opened up to Steve Harvey about his split from Kate and how it has affected their eight children in an interview set to air Monday. Jon says that while he sees his children once a week for a dinner night and gets them every other weekend for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, he has no control over which of his children he sees. “Most of the time I get four. I haven’t seen all of my kids together in about three years,” said Jon in a preview clip. “I only get what I get I pull to the gate, and whoever comes down the driveway, that’s who I get. I’m not privy to any information, I don’t know who I’m going to get.” A source close to Kate tells PEOPLE, “As always, Kate has no desire to comment on Jon’s life or his choices. She will never comment on the father of her children.” Jon says he and Kate don’t talk, except in court, and that he hasn’t seen one of his sons in 18 months, though he does not specify which one. “Now the kids are stuck in the middle between us,” said Jon. “I haven’t seen my son in a year and a half. I don’t know why. I can’t talk to him. I have no communication.” Jon, 38, and Kate, 40, split in 2009 and are parents to 14-year-old twins Cara and Mady and 11-year-old sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Leah, Joel, Aaden and Alexis. The Steve Harvey Show‘s full interview with Jon airs Monday (check local listings).
