JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers just took the next big step in their relationship.

Almost two weeks after going public with their engagement following the season finale of The Bachelorette, the two have officially moved in together in Fletcher’s hometown of Dallas.

On Wednesday, the happy couple packed up and made their way to their new home – documenting the entire road trip on Snapchat, of course – and in photos obtained by TMZ, the two can be spotted unloading a moving truck at their new digs.

During their recent exclusive PEOPLE cover interview, Fletcher, 25, said the two are just “really excited to start a life together.”

“We have a house, we want to get some furniture and get settled,” said Rodgers, 27, who is originally from Chico, California, but previously lived in Nashville, Tennessee.

“We’re just excited to be together and be able to show our relationship to people who haven’t been able to see it,” Fletcher added.

Rodgers was quick to point out he can’t wait to meet his “first child” – but it’s not what you might be thinking.

“My baby dog Jackson!” explained Fletcher.

And the meeting was just as sweet as you might have imagined.

“Jackson didn’t recognize his father at first…now he does,” Rodgers joked on Snapchat Wednesday, using one of the filters from the app to snap a picture of himself with dog ears alongside Fletcher’s pup Jackson.

In the meantime, the two are definitely looking forward to some much-needed alone time.

“Because it’s been hard,” Fletcher told PEOPLE. “As great as it’s been, it’s also been very difficult so we just want to take that time to decompress and be ourselves. But I know he’s ready. He’s always trying to elope like every other day!”

And while eloping might be off the table, the two have been “actively” talking about nailing down a wedding date.

“It’s 2017,” Fletcher revealed. “We’re so excited but planning a wedding seems very complicated!”

But despite their hectic to-do list, the two are looking forward to the future together.

“I’m ready for a sense of normalcy,” Rodgers said. “We want to get into a routine with each other, getting into one place, moving in – I can’t wait to go furniture shopping and grocery shopping. I love that. I’m so all about that.”

“I’m looking forward to getting settled in Dallas,” he continued. “Once we’re settled and we have furniture to sit on, we’ll sit down and figure it out.”

“The good news is that we have each other to figure it out with,” Fletcher added.

And is it too soon to think about expanding the family?

“Pump the brakes!” Fletcher said with a laugh. “Absolutely, I want kids. I need a couple of years at least. I’m thinking five years. Like [when I turn] 30 would be great!”
