The actor surfaced catching a flight to Canada days after being arrested and hospitalized

John Stamos was seen out for the first time since being arrested and hospitalized after driving under the influence in Beverly Hills on Friday.

The Full House actor, 51, was photographed arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday before catching a flight to Toronto. He wore sunglasses and a dark blazer while walking through LAX.

“Thank you Canadian immigration – you were super cool,” He Tweeted upon his arrival in Canada.

The DUI arrest occurred Friday at 7:45 p.m. local time after the Beverly Hills Police Department received numerous calls about an erratic driver, PEOPLE confirmed.

The police then decided that Stamos required medical attention, and he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He was cited for driving under the influence and released to the care of the hospital.

Stamos Tweeted the following day that he was “home and well.”

“Thanks to everyone for their love & support,” Stamos wrote.

Stamos is starring in the upcoming Fox sitcom Grandfathered and has been producing and promoting Fuller House, a spinoff of the popular ’90s family comedy, which will premiere on Netflix in 2016.
