Jimmy Kimmel is urging fans to give back this holiday season.

The late night host is joining the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign, and PEOPLE has the exclusive TV spot he recorded in hopes of raising money for the children’s hospital.

Kimmel appears alongside two young St. Jude patients for the TV spot, which Kimmel hopes will help contribute to the $588 million that has already been raised by the campaign.

“I’m honored to be involved in the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign this year and to be part of the team that is helping to save the lives of children in communities across America and around the world,” Kimmel said in a statement. “My new friends Kenlie and Jaycee, who I filmed a television spot with this year, are a true inspiration to me. I hope that everyone will join me and help the children of St. Jude who are in the biggest fight of their lives.”

The campaign is also supported by stars such as Jennifer Aniston and Michael Strahan.

In addition to helping out an important cause, Kimmel is also celebrating a very different type of annual tradition Tuesday. He will unveil PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive cover during Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights (11:35 p.m. ET) on ABC.
