Could not one, but two babies be on the way for the older Duggar sisters?
Right away, the new cousins started bonding. As soon as Jill’s son came face-to-face with his baby cousin, he began to hug and repeatedly kiss Spurgeon.
“Which of the two of you will have your second child first?,” a producer asked the girls during the finale.
“It’s hard to say,” Jessa says, while sending a smile in her sister’s direction.
“I think we will probably be pregnant at the same time,” Jill claims. “But to say who will be first, well Israel is older… so we will see.”
Throughout the show, both Jill and Jessa discuss adopting. The pair are set on giving multiple orphans a new beginning, but the exact timing of these plans are not set in stone. They admit that it’s heartbreaking to visit orphanages and to hear kids tell them that their only wish is to have a parents.
“You just want to take them all home,” Jessa told the camera. While Jill admits that adoption holds a special place in her heart, because her husband’s mom was adopted.
During the show, Jill also addresses the constant pregnancy rumors that are floating around within her family.
“I’m not pregnant yet, that’s the question everyone keeps asking me. Not yet,” the 24-year-old admits after her husband Dillard revealed that their next child will be biological.
“I feel like we will have another child,” Dillard said. “I just don’t know how. It will probably be a naturalized citizen of the family.”
In the finale scene, Dillard addressed the camera leaving fans with one last bit of information: “We plan to expand our family of three. We’ll see.”
