In Sunday’s episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Jill (Duggar) Dillard and her husband Derick prepare to move to Central America for missionary work, and the family is taking it hard. Jill’s sister Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, who at the time the episode was shot was pregnant with her first son Spurgeon, admits that she’s sad her sister won’t be there during her first pregnancy. And kind of selfishly, I’m like, ‘I really want you to be here when I have a baby. You could be so much help and everything. That’s probably the most tough part about it for me.” But it’s not all bittersweet. Jill is particularly excited that her mother-in-law Cathy is able to come along for the first leg of their trip. “While Derick and I were engaged, Miss Cathy was in the hospital going through cancer treatments. Now it’s a joyous season, with her grandson and just getting to share in that,” says Jill, 24. Jill admits that it was difficult to leave with her husband and baby Israel, but Derick says the family is “really excited” to start their next chapter of life. Jill & Jessa: Counting On airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on TLC.
