Entertainment TV Jessa (Duggar) Seewald Publicly Turns Her Back on Brother Josh – Is a Family Feud Brewing? Jessa shared a link to a post in which her father-in-law called Josh a hypocrite By People Staff Published on September 1, 2015 07:20 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Splash News Jessa (Duggar) Seewald is publicly breaking ranks with her brother Josh Duggar for the first time since multiple scandals have hit the embattled reality star. Seewald shared a post on her Facebook page written by her father-in-law Michael Seewald, in which he called Josh a “hypocritical Christian” following the revelation that Josh used the cheating website Ashley Madison. Her husband Ben Seewald tweeted a link to the blog post. A day earlier, Jessa and Ben both shared a link to a sermon about preventing adultery and rejecting “a thousand other temptations.” It’s a notable move for Jessa, as she had previously stood by Josh. In June, she told Fox News she and the family had moved on after she and sister Jill were molested by Josh as girls. She told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly that Josh is not a “child molester or a pedophile or a rapist.” “Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty and a little too curious about girls,” Jessa said. “And that got him into some trouble. And he made some bad choices, but, really, the extent of it was mild inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims, most of it while [the] girls were sleeping.” Other members of the Duggar family have dealt with the scandals by appealing to their faith.
