There just may be a baby Mozart in the Seewald family!

Just days after turning a year old, Jessa and Ben Seewald‘s son Spurgeon Elliot enjoyed getting his hands on the family piano — with some help from mom!

In a video posted on the family’s website on Thursday, Jessa, 24, sits at the piano bench with Spurgeon, 1, on her lap. Although Jessa attempts to help Spurgeon place his hands on the keys, he appears to know how to do it all on his own!

“What are you doing, Spurge?” Ben, who filmed the adorable video, asks his son. “Starting young.”

Spurgeon seems to enjoy the loud sounds of the musical instrument and places both hands on the piano’s keys before he looks up at the camera and flashes a closed-mouth smile.

“This future little pianist is so proud of himself! #SpurgeonElliotSeewald,” the Counting On star penned about the sweet video on Twitter.

On Sunday, the expectant mom — who will give birth to baby No. 2 in February — wished her “baby boy” a happy birthday on Instagram. “Happy birthday to our baby boy! Check out his 1-year photo album on our website!”

In August, PEOPLE exclusively reported that Jessa and Ben are expecting their second child. “We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as ‘big brother!’ ” the couple said in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. “We are so thankful that God is adding to our family.”
