Jessa (Duggar) Seewald is happy and stronger than ever.

Despite a summer that saw her family rocked by her brother Josh Duggar‘s molestation and sex scandals, the first-time mom-to-be is staying positive and enjoying life, says a source close to the former 19 Kids and Counting star.

“Some people may have thought Jessa was wounded by the negative headlines, so it’s exciting to be able to show people that she is happier than ever and holding her head high,” the source tells PEOPLE.

In May, Josh admitted that he molested five underage girls, including his sisters Jessa and Jill, as a teenager. He is currently seeking treatment in a faith-based rehab center following his confession in August that he cheated on his wife using Ashley Madison and had pornography addiction.

Jessa is focusing on the positives in her life, including her family. She and husband Ben are expecting their first child in November.

“Jessa is truly feeling so happy, healthy and centered. This is really one of the best times of her life,” says the source. “Her love for Ben is really something to see. They adore each other, and it’s clear that they’re soul mates. He treats her like a true queen.”

Jessa is excited to share her post-19 Kids and Counting life with viewers. She and Jill are returning to TLC for a series of specials documenting their lives now, with the first expected to air by the end of the year.

“If there is any silver lining to the scandals, it’s that it only reinforced the strength Jessa has in her marriage, her family and, most of all, her faith,” says the source.
