The Idol judge is doing "whatever I feel like doing" when it comes to her relationship with on-again off-again boyfriend Smart
If love don’t cost a thing, why won’t J.Lo give us the scoop on her love life?
When DeGeneres asks J.Lo whether she’s single, the singer replies, “Yeah, yeah. I’m kind of not, but I kind of am.”
Luckily for us, she explains this confusing response: “Have you ever been at a point in your life where you don’t know? Like you’re not sure about things? Well, that’s all. I am not sure about anything.”
“I’m a grown woman,” the “Booty” singer says, before promising DeGeneres that when she has an official announcement to make, “I’ll say it. I’ll say, ‘You know what, this is going down.’ But right now I just feel like I am me.”
But as the singer gears up for her Las Vegas residency, she might be too busy for anything serious. She told DeGeneres that she’s currently working on developing the show she’ll be performing 20 times next year, and for the next few years after that.
“It’s like an entertainer’s dream,” Lopez says. “You really get to create the show that you’ve always wanted there.
“I’m like, ‘Should I do magic? Should I disappear? Maybe I’ll do this and then I’ll have a new outfit on,’ ” she continues. “Maybe I’ll fly. Maybe I’ll swim. I don’t know. I’m thinking, how do I make my show fresh and exciting? It’s like the sky’s the limit there.”
