Jennifer Lopez & Ryan Seacrest Aren't Having an Idol 'Diva Battle'
American Idol season 10 hasn’t even started yet, and the show’s new judge Jennifer Lopez is already fending off continuous diva rumors.
She recently denied that she made over-the-top hiring demands to FOX. Now, she’s clearing up claims that she and Ryan Seacrest are at war.
“I’m there two weeks, and we [reportedly] have a major feud – a diva battle,” Lopez, 41, said Friday on Seacrest’s KIIS-FM morning show. “It’s hysterical … It’s crazy.”
Echoing his Idol counterpart’s statements, Seacrest, 35, also denies he and Lopez are having problems. “Not only is that so untrue, [but] Jennifer and I have known each other for a long time before all of this, and, we actually have a similar sense of humor,” Seacrest said. “So, when we’re on the air and off the air, we’re usually having a laugh.”
Lopez says she’s too busy anticipating this season of Idol to feud with people. “I just love it,” she says. “I just love artists, and I love when I see somebody come in the room, and I’m like, ‘Wow, 20 years from now, this kid could be a legend.’ It’s really exciting. I’ve been having a really good time with it.”
