Jennifer Lawrence Can't Contain Herself While Meeting 'RHOBH' Star (and 'New BFF') Lisa Rinna

Jennifer Lawrence has made her love for reality TV very clear over the years. So it was no surprise to see her totally geek out when meeting Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna on Friday night.

The 27-year-old Oscar winner looked beside herself upon their introduction, screaming, hugging Rinna and quickly snapping selfies when they ran into each other in a New York City restaurant.

It was an adorable moment captured by Rinna’s 16-year-old daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin, who filmed video of the encounter and immediately posted it to her Instagram Story before Rinna shared to her own Instagram on Saturday.

“My new best friend forever,” Rinna wrote on the video, adding a heart emoji.

“This is iconic. Jennifer Lawrence looks like she’s seen a ghost,” Gray wrote on hers. “I’m done. Goodnight. Tuck me in.”

Rinna — who was in town with Amelia Gray and husband Harry Hamlin to help daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin, 19, move into her new N.Y.C. apartment — isn’t the only RHOBH star Lawrence has met before.

She’s spent a lot of time O.G. Beverly Hills Housewife Lisa Vanderpump, even frequenting the restaurateur’s West Hollywood bar SUR, which is the subject of another favorite show of Lawrence’s:the RHOBH spin-off Vanderpump Rules.

The two first met when Lawrence and her friends went to Vanderpump’s other bar Pump in 2014, hours after filming their own version of the Vanderpump Rules intro on their social media. “We took so many pictures with her,” Lawrence told Eddie Redmayne in Interview. “We were like, [referring to season 4 of the RHOBH], ‘Puerto Rico was a witch hunt. Brandi [Glanville] and Kyle [Richards] were so mean!’ ”

Vanderpump didn’t mind. “[Jennifer is] wonderful, actually. She’s extraordinarily talented for a young actress,” the 57-year-old reality star told PEOPLE Now in January 2016, “and I really think she kind of hits it right now, you know. She’s very kind of current and very talented.”

On a 2015 episode of Vanderpump Rules, it was revealed Lawrence has her own go-to cocktail at Pump called the Pump-Tini. “This was Jennifer Lawrence’s favorite cocktail when she came in,” a Pump bartender said.

Lawrence is such a big fan of the Housewives franchise that she has frequent conversations with executive producer Andy Cohen about the storylines. “I’m really passionate,” she said on The Tonight Show in September, adding she “gives Andy a lot of advice” about being a producer.

While Friday may be the first time she met Lawrence, it wasn’t the first time Rinna spoke to the actress. While promoting Passengers with costar Chris Pratt, the actress was treated to a very special gift from Rinna and several of her RHOBH cast members like Vanderpump, Richards and Erika Girardi — who all recorded messages for the star.

Her reaction when seeing the full compilation during an Access Hollywood interview? “I’m going to cry.”
