Jennifer Aniston may have been passed over by Oscar for her transformative performance in Cake, but the star has come out of awards season on top in another way – she famously got handsy with Kate Hudson “irresistible tush”!

When Ellen DeGeneres brought up the Golden Globes grab on Monday’s Ellen, Aniston, 45, didn’t pause before saying, “Well, my gosh, look at that ass!”

She also laughed that, as a woman, “I’m allowed!”

Aniston’s good humor likewise inspired a huge chuckle of relief when she addressed her Oscar omission: “I’m the No. 1 snubbed!”

And, with that signature comic timing she perfected during 10 years starring on Friends, Aniston landed the punchline: “That’s the silver lining, right?”

DeGeneres said that the outrage over Aniston’s omission from the Leading Actress category “in itself has to be a win” for the actress who received Golden Globe and Screen Actor’s Guild award nominations.

“[The film] hasn’t even come out – that’s the crazy thing,” Aniston said graciously. “We’re so shocked and amazed that we have had this much love at all for a movie that hasn’t even been released yet.”

Aniston continued that she has appreciated “how much positivity” her character has encouraged in real-life fans “who are silently suffering. It’s a beautiful, hopeful movie.”
