Entertainment TV Jamie Chung Reveals What Makes Her Marriage to Bryan Greenberg Work: 'We Respect Each Other' The Gotham actress also admitted that she still hasn't watched her husband in One Tree Hill By Jeffrey Slonim Published on August 9, 2016 09:20 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Getty Gotham star Jamie Chung is sharing some insight on what makes her marriage to Bryan Greenberg a success. “We make each other laugh. We understand each other. We always put family first. We respect each other – we just get each other,” Chung, 33, told PEOPLE at the Women’s Health and Feed Foundation’s 5th Annual “Party Under the Stars” event on Saturday in Bridgehampton, New York. “We do spend a lot of time apart because of work. He’s in L.A., I’m in New York. He’s in Atlanta, I’m in New York. We keep missing each other, so the time that we do have together, we’re very cognizant of how limited it is. We try to make the most of the time we do have together,” she continued. Though the couple often works on opposite coasts from one another, she said of the miles in between, “The distance either tears you apart or it brings you together, and I think it brings us together.” Still, Chung cannot bring herself to watch Greenberg, now 38, on his early hit CW series, One Tree Hill, in which he appeared as Jake Jagielski from 2003 to 2006. “I missed the boat on that one,” Chung said.“I just never watched it. I never got into it.” “I remember my husband and I were on vacation and we were in bed together. His episode came on and he had this crazy hair and a puka shell necklace. It’s just so dated,” she said, adding, “I can’t watch it.” In October, Chung and Greenberg will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary. “Everything he does is super cute. Even when he just cuddles with the dog, Ewok, this little rescue dog, it’s so cute,” Chung gushed. “He’s just a great, great husband.”
