Jack Osbourne on His Dancing with the Stars Rivalry: 'It's All-Out War'
"If I see him in a dark alley, it's on," jokes his rival Brant Daugherty
Here’s hoping Jack Osbourne and Brant Daugherty don’t meet in a dark alley and have to jive to survive.
In this behind-the-scenes look at weekend Dancing with the Stars rehearsals, the two competitors joke about their friendly rivalry with their partners Cheryl Burke and Peta Murgatroyd.
“I don’t know if it’s a friendly rivalry with Brant,” jokes Osbourne, 27. “It’s an all-out war.”
He continues: “We were exchanging fisticuffs in the parking lot the other day he’ll say something about my mother, I’ll say something his mother it’s just ugly.”
Daugherty, 28, responds with his own warning: “If I see him in a dark alley, it’s on.”
Osbourne quickly puts things into perspective, however. “There really isn’t just that much internal conflict with any of us.”
Adds Osbourne’s partner, Burke, “We’re all feeling insecure we all need to root for each other.”
Both dancers performed the jive last week, earning the same score of 27, with Osbourne earning a perfect 10.
“It was a good platform for us to compete,” says Daugherty, whose partner Peta jokingly gets in the final jab: “Yo mama!”
Music legend Cher serves as guest judge on Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars, which airs at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
