Chuck Norris and Lee Majors, call your agents!

Fox is in the very early stages of developing a small-screen version of The Expendables franchise, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Sylvester Stallone – who first shepherded the behemoth franchise that kicked off in 2010 – will mirror the movies by uniting iconic TV stars to play a team of highly-skilled heroes who are tasked with stopping a dangerous terrorist, reports Deadline.

Producer Avi Lerner, who has produced the franchise with Stallone, will oversee the TV series along with Kevin King.

Fox insiders caution the project is only in the script stage. If it makes it to production, it will be dubbed an event series. No cast has been set.

Meanwhile, Stallone and Lerner already have a fourth and fifth installment of the Expendables franchise planned for a big screen, as well as an all-female version called, appropriately enough, The Expendabelles, Deadline reports.
