On Monday’s episode of The Bachelor, Ben Higgins and Lauren Himle shared an adorable first kiss – with “Little Ben” watching! – on a group date.

On the next episode, the pair take their relationship to the next level when they finally go on their first one-on-one date in Mexico City.

Stepping (literally) right into Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, the kindergarten teacher and the software salesman spent the day portion of their date rehearsing to walk in Pineda Covalin’s fashion show.

“I wanted to make sure that I brought somebody that I knew would appreciate it, have fun with it, but also take it seriously,” Higgins told PEOPLE in Mexico City while shooting the show. “Lauren is exactly that person.” <img class="size-article-wide wp-image-2389752" src=" http://peoplev6.alley.ws/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/cover-435-27.jpg" alt="GET THE SCOOP ON EVERYTHING THE BACHELOR!” width=”2000″ height=”1333″>PEOPLE’s collector’s edition celebrating 20 seasons of The Bachelor, with new interviews and updates on your favorite contestants, is on sale now!PEOPLE’s collector’s edition The Bachelor, with new interviews and updates on your favorite contestants, is on sale now in stores and online!

In the evening, the budding couple will prove that practice makes perfect when they fit right in with the professional models as they strut down the runway in Covalin’s latest line.

Himle, 25, “was pretty nervous” but said having Higgins, 27, by her side put her at ease. “Walking down the runway as a couple was really great,” she said. “He’s awesome at modeling! He looks so good.”

The Bachelor airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
