Back to you…

Following a killer season finale, you won’t need to wait long before How to Get Away with Murder returns to raise more questions than it could possibly answer.

In a promo following Thursday’s episode, ABC promised: “Thank God we’ll be back with a whole new season of insanity,” adding that the show would return in the fall.

Given the enormous success of the series, a second season was basically a given. Viola Davis won a SAG Award for her portrayal of Annalise Keating, and snagged a Golden Globe nomination for the role, as well.

Following the finale, showrunner Pete Nowalk confirmed that season 2 “awaits” in a Tweet thanking the cast and crew for their hard work.

How are they going to get away with murder this time?
