While How to Get Away with Murder‘s midseason finale revealed that Wes (Alfred Enoch) killed Annalise’s (Viola Davis) two-timing husband, fans still don’t know the central mystery of who killed college student Lila Stangard – whose body was found in a water tank on her sorority house’s roof.

But we may be closer to getting an answer! Here are a few other tidbits to get you ready for Thursday’s winter premiere:

The secrets don’t stop
Viola Davis, who won a SAG award Sunday for her performance in the ABC drama, says viewers should remain on the edge of their seats. “I think it’s a continuation of that adrenaline, of the mystery, of the intrigue. I don’t think it lets up,” Davis told reporters Monday. “I just think it reaches a whole different level and height, and as it progresses you’re going to really see who these people are.”

There will be more notable guest stars
Besides Marcia Gay Harden, who has an upcoming three-episode arc, more guest stars are expected this season – including Cicely Tyson – said Karla Souza, who plays Laurel Castillo.

There will be more sexual scenes
Remember that in-office liaison between Annalise and hottie cop Nate Lahey? Davis revealed, “There’s some steaminess coming up. You’ll see.”

There will be betrayals
If you thought everyone seemed icy towards each other in the first half of the season, expect even more fractures within the tight-knit group of law students. “I think that the theme of the back five episodes is that everybody is really starting to now sort of come undone,” explained Liza Weil, who plays Bonnie Winterbottom. “More layers are being peeled away and people are more vulnerable. I think loyalties are questioned and people are going to start betraying each other. So all of that stuff is going to come into play and how that affects Bonnie will certainly be shown.”

Annalise will reveal her soft side
Remember how we saw Davis makeup free? There are more raw moments in the episodes to come. “You’ll see as the season goes on and the murder mystery progresses, she loses her kind of outward demeanor more [and] you’ll see that vulnerability really bubbling over,” said Davis of her hard-as-nails character.

How to Get Away with Murder returns Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
