Conscious Uncoupling? Kimye's Vogue Cover? Sounds Like Work for Scandal's Olivia Pope
What if Pope pulled the strings behind celebrity scoops and scandals
Alas, Scandal‘s season 3 finale is upon us. Soon there’ll be no more Liv and Fitz makeout sessions, heated walk-talks through White House corridors or oddly angled camera shots hoping to hide Kerry Washington‘s growing baby belly.
But the fun doesn’t have to stop there. We got a hold of some of Olivia Pope’s confidential case files (not really) that reveal she and her team stepped in to help some major celebrity clients recently. Talk about a fixer.
This would have been a big messy War of the Roses-type split (picture Coldplay CDs and Goop goods flying everywhere) had Liv not flown in a guru friend to help smooth things over before press time.
Liv caught wind that a photo of her and Fitz kissing was about to be published in a tabloid, so she called in a favor with pal Anna Wintour to put Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the cover just in time to capture the nation’s attention.
FILE: Letterman Retiring
With Jimmy Fallon as one of Liv’s clients, it was only a matter of time. The gladiators paid David Letterman a visit and gave him an ultimatum: either get braces or give up the desk.
Prince Joffrey is actually a rogue member of B613. Jack Ballard handled that one himself, then hopped on a red-eye from Westeros back to Washington.
Each and every baby’s face and profile was stuck up on the wall at Olivia Pope and Associates offices, where Abby picked the candidates apart – “Too many teeth,” “crawls too fast,” “drooler” – until they had vetted all attendees.
