There’s only one person that can make Hoda Kotb feel like a school girl again: her boyfriend Joel Schiffman.

While playing a game of Word Association for this week’s issue of PEOPLE, the Today co-host said that these days, Schiffman, 57, is the first person who comes to mind when she hears the word “love.”

“It’s one of the most natural relationships I’ve ever been in,” Hoda, 51, tells PEOPLE of her and Schiffman’s two-year romance.

Since meeting the financier at a Wall Street event and dating him quietly until she revealed his name earlier this year, Kotb says she all but melts when he’s around. “He’s a guy that gives me butterflies again at 50-years-old,” she gushes.

And things are going so well, Kotb admits she’s almost feeling superstitious. “I’m so happy, I really am. But you know sometimes you hate to jinx something. I’m like, don’t jinx it!”
