Gwen Stefani isn’t giving much thought to what’s being said about her and Blake Shelton.

“Have you read the news?” the singer, 46, told Entertainment Tonight of the romance rumors before her MasterCard Priceless Surprises concert in New York City on Saturday.

Speculation about Stefani and Shelton, 39, amped up after they started working on season 9 of NBC’s The Voice, but a source told PEOPLE earlier this month, “It’s total bulls—. There’s nothing there. They’re nothing more than friends.”

Although Stefani has laughed off the chatter, she gave Entertainment Tonight an update on how Shelton is doing in the wake of his divorce from Miranda Lambert in July.

“It seems like the cowboy is really happy on the show,” Stefani said of her fellow judge. “We’re all having so much fun on that show. Everybody is in such a good place.”

As Stefani continues to appear on the singing competition, she’s also gearing up for a new chapter of her career. At her concert on Saturday, the No Doubt front woman debuted a new solo single, "Used to Love You," which she wrote following her split from husband Gavin Rossdale in August.

“I thought I was the best thing that ever happened to you,” she sings in the emotional ballad.

Stefani opened up to PEOPLE about her new music in September, saying, “[It’s] just truth. Just being clear and being true to myself. I just want to be fulfilled.”

For Stefani, reclaiming her spot is a homecoming of sorts.

“I [haven’t played live] a lot in the past few years – I had the babies,” she told PEOPLE on Friday, noting how she and Rossdale welcomed their three children – Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 19 months – in the last decade. “But once I get up there again, I realize I like doing it. A lot.”
