Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit and Vanessa Hudgens will star in the January telecast
The first promo for Grease: Live will give you chills – and they’re multiplying.
On Monday, PEOPLE gave viewers the exclusive first look at the stars of the upcoming Fox production, set to air in January.
Hough will play Sandy, and the roles of her fellow Pink Ladies will be filled by Jepsen as Frenchy, Hudgens as Rizzo and Keke Palmer as Marty.
As for the T-Birds, the star-studded cast includes Les Misérables actor Tveit as Danny Zuko, Dancing with the Stars‘ Carlos Penavega as Kenickie, Andrew Call as Sonny and Jordan Fisher as Doody.
“I’m excited about both looks,” DWTS judge Hough, 27, says in the latest issue of PEOPLE of playing an innocent Rydell High newcomer who transforms into a sultry vixen. “I can’t wait to go from young girl kind of figuring out who she is to owning this newfound sex appeal.”
As if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, Jessie J will open the show with a special arrangement of “Grease (Is the Word).”
