The song was made famous by Olivia Newton-John in the 1978 film version of the classic musical but it was not actually part of the 1973 Broadway production. Fox’s live telecast of the musical – like the recent stage revivals of Grease – will include the ballad, but it has been moved to later in the production. Grease: Live will actually combine elements from the Broadway production, the film and will feature a brand-new tune. “Grease is a show that everyone knows,” Fox’s Danny Zuko (Broadway star Aaron Tveit) tells PEOPLE. “We are doing our best to pay homage to the versions that people know, but we are also making it our own and creating something completely new.”
