From Jesse and Danny to Jimmy and Ronnie, the pairing of John Stamos and Bob Saget by any other names is just as sweet.

PEOPLE has learned exclusively that Saget, 59, has signed on to reprise the cameo he made in the series pilot of Stamos’ new sitcom Grandfathered.

And, according to a Fox description, the man who played Danny Tanner won’t be the voice of reason this time. Instead, he’s set to play Ronnie, the longtime best bud Stamos’ Jimmy, who coaxes him into reliving their wild weekend nights out amid the new grandfather’s transition to become a family man.

Saget’s sign-up follows the announcement that fellow Full House alum Dave Coulier will be making a cameo on an upcoming episode.

It seems the trio of actors, who are all set to make appearances on Netflix’s 2016 spin-off Fuller House, just can’t seem to to get enough of reliving the Tanner household days.

Stamos previously told PEOPLE that “the show is about a George Clooney kind of guy. … He’s a bachelor who thinks he’s got it all, but there is something missing. He finds out he has a son and it takes him aback, but that’s not all. It turns out that he’s got a daughter, and that makes him a grandfather.”
