Fish Mooney is back!

For now, anyway – Jada Pinkett Smith recently revealed that Gotham‘s inaugural season will be her last, but that doesn’t mean she won’t go out with a bang.

The last time we saw Fish, she had been shot in the gut by The Dollmaker (Colm Feore) before escaping from his prison into a stolen helicopter. As you do.

She’s been absent for the past couple of episodes, but in Monday’s “All Happy Families Are Alike,” she makes an “astonishing” entrance: “Sometimes I astonish myself,” she announces in an exclusive sneak peek at the season 1 finale to a totally agape group assembled of Jim (Ben McKenzie), Harvey (Donal Logue), Falcone (John Doman) and Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor).

Not only has Fish returned to Gotham in an attempt to re-stake her claim on the city, but she’s doing it with a brand-new look. Her Mohawk is badass enough, but the surface piercings dotting the shaved sides of it are what prove that she’s a force to be reckoned with. Seriously, the woman can handle pain. Remember when she stabbed out her own eye? Pinkett Smith is leaving behind one hell of a legacy.

Also in the episode, Barbara (Erin Richards) and Leslie (Morena Baccarin) “are brought together after recent events,” reads a Fox release, “and Bruce (David Mazouz) searches Wayne Manor for any hints that his father might have left behind.”

“I think people are going to have a really good time watching [the finale],” Pinkett Smith told PEOPLE on Tuesday. “I think the fans are going to be really satisfied.”

The Gotham season finale airs Monday (8 p.m. ET) on Fox.
