Oscar Isaac won a Golden Globe for his striking performance in Show Me a Hero.

The Star Wars actor, who has been nominated twice by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, took home his first award on Sunday for best actor in a limited series or TV movie.

Isaac snagged the top prize over his fellow nominees Idris Elba (Luther), David Oyelowo (Nightingale), Mark Rylance (Wolf Hall) and Patrick Wilson (Fargo).

Issac wore a custom-made, single-breasted Rag & Bone tuxedo with a shawl collar in black Italian wool.

Jaimie Alexander and Amber Heard presented the award.

Backstage after his win, Isaac told reporters that with his success on the small and silver screens, “it’s hard to fathom this year.”

“It’s been wild,” he said in the press room. “[I am] Very, very blessed and humbled by everything that’s happening.”

So much so that he hasn’t even thought of where he’ll keep his shiny new Globe.

” have no plans. I’m just really into the whole now thing and being present,” he said. “I’ve planned as far as doing this and walking back to my seat, then we’ll see what happens. This year has been something that no one could have planned.”

Hosted once again by Ricky Gervais, the 73rd annual Golden Globes were presented live from Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on NBC.
