'Glee' Finale: Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and More Tweet Final Memories

After six emotional seasons of song covers and endless ups and downs at William KcKinley High School, the cast of Glee are bidding farewell to the musical series.

Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Dianna Agron and more cast members mourned the end of an era hours before the finale aired with heartfelt Tweets and photos from the set. (A heart-wrenching Flashback Friday!)

The last episode of Glee airs Friday in a special two-hour finale, which will also feature a special tribute to Glee‘s Cory Monteith.

“It was waterworks,” Jane Lynch, who plays notorious gym coach Sue Sylvester, told PEOPLE of filming the final episode. “There are some takes I’m sure they can’t use because we were all weeping. It was hard to get through.”
