The ABC news personality and DiDario, both 30, were wed in front of 165 friends and family Saturday – and the ceremony was retooled at the last moment as weather reports two days earlier indicated there would be rain in Benitez’s hometown of Miami. With the clock ticking down, planner Alina Moleta quickly reorganized the outdoor reception at the historic Walton House to include clear tents and bistro lighting. “I think my absolute favorite moment was walking down the aisle to Jake Coco’s cover of ‘Your Song,'” Benitez tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Tommy walked out with his mom and I walked out with mine, and we met at the aisle, held each other’s hands, and all four of us walked down the aisle together. It was the ultimate joining of families that moves me so much. I still get emotional thinking about it.” The couple wrote their own vows the reality of which hit Benitez as his life was about to forever change. “And in the minutes before we delivered those vows, I felt the kind of nervousness and excitement that I’ve never felt before,” says the journalist, who proposed to DiDario in Paris last September. “Not even telling millions of Americans a story on live television is that nerve wracking for me! What a special moment to get those words out.” For DiDario, the couple’s first first dance to Volo’s cover of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” became “one of the most moving moments of the night.” [BRIGHTCOVE “20965437” “” “peoplenow” “no” ] “Our journey of experiencing a love so beautifully real and true flashed through my mind as I stared into the eyes of my husband,” says DiDario, who is now on his honeymoon with Benitez. He adds: “Our friends and family gathered around us, and I kept thinking how lucky we are to have such support in our lives. At one point, the entire room of 165 guests burst out into song, singing the beautiful lyrics in unison! It was absolutely enchanting.”
