Gina Rodriguez to Boyfriend Henrie Esteve: 'It's Always Been You'

It’s no wonder Gina Rodriguez just signed a book deal.

Like the aspiring writer she plays on the CW’s Jane the Virgin, Rodriguez has a gift with words – and relationships, apparently.

“It’s you. It’s always been you. One year down, I pray for a 100 more. Happy anniversary my love,” the actress, 30, posted on Instagram Thursday along with a photo of herself staring into the eyes of her boyfriend, actor Henri Esteve.

Rodriguez famously took her sister Ivelisse as her date the to the 2015 Golden Globes, where she took home a best actress statue, but the actress and Esteve have had plenty of date nights during their first year together.

“He’s my partner in crime and super supportive,” Rodriguez told PEOPLE of Esteve in March.

So are wedding bells in the future for the happy couple? What about kids?

“Ideally, a family would come when it is supposed to. But there is no rush,” Rodriguez said. “I feel like there is no timeline. Especially as a woman, people say, ‘Oh, you have to be careful because after the age of 35 …’ and it’s, like, ‘Okay. So, if I can’t have a baby, then I’ll adopt.’ There are always ways, so I’m not putting any kind of timeline on that situation.”
